The Survivor Fund provides limited direct financial assistance through a variety of funding programs and partnerships.
Available funding opportunities, eligibility requirements, and application processes may vary depending on where you live and the current funding source.

CITY OF CHICAGO
City of Chicago residents may be eligible to apply for $1,000 in cash assistance. Applicants must submit an Appointment Eligibility Form during the monthly open window, after which a random selection process determines who can move forward. The form becomes available around the 15th of each month and remains open for about a week, depending on funding availability. This program is not emergency funding, and eligibility is based on household income below 300% of the national poverty guidelines.
