Shaunagh McGoldrick

Housing Advocacy Attorney

 

Shaunagh McGoldrick is a Housing Advocacy Attorney at The Network. She joined The Network in the spring of 2023 and supports the housing team by providing advice and legal support to survivors, conducting trainings, and engaging in policy and systems response reform for survivors who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness due to gender-based violence. 

Prior to coming to The Network, Shaunagh worked in Montana as an advocate at a domestic violence shelter and at a university where she ran a 24-hour crisis hotline and provided counseling services primarily to students impacted by domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, and sexual assault. She recently worked at Law Center for Better Housing in eviction defense, providing advice and representation to renters through the Early Resolution Program. Shaunagh received her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she was on the Executive Board of the Moot Court Honor Society and President of the Chicago-Kent Lambdas. She holds a Master of Social work from the University of Montana, and an undergraduate degree from Emerson College in Boston.
