When is the Bank of America Marathon?
The Marathon will be held on Sunday, October 11th, 2026.
How do I join the Run DV Out of Town team?
Guaranteed entry into the Run DV Out of Town team is open until March 31, 2026. Please email marathon@the-network.org for more information and to request to join. Prior to acceptance into the team, you will complete a phone interview with one of our Marathon staff members to review the commitment and answer any questions you may have. You will then sign a runner’s agreement and sign up on the BoA portal.
What is the fundraising minimum?
All Marathon runners commit to raising $2,200 for The Network by October 17th, 2026. There are fundraising touchpoints during the year as outlined in your runner’s agreement.
What benefits will I receive for running as part of your team?
The Network is planning a host of benefits this year! Perks include:
- Pasta night the day before Marathon day
- The chance to win raffle prizes for exclusive Run DV Out of Town merch
- A monthly newsletter to keep you up to date on all things Run DV Out of Town
- A fundraising and social media toolkit you can use for your fundraising efforts

What if I want to go above and beyond my $2,200 fundraising goal?
We would love for you to join our 2620 Club! Members of the 2620 Club agree to raise a minimum of $2,620 for The Network by October 1st, 2026. Plus, you will get exclusive Run DV Our of Town merch just for joining!
Why should I run with The Network’s team?
When you run with Run DV Out of Town, you are making a commitment to serving survivors of gender-based violence. Through education, public policy and advocacy, and connecting community members with direct service providers, we lead collaborative work to imagine and realize radical ways to respond to and end gender-based violence, focusing on the intersections between systemic violence and gender-based violence. What if I want to support The Network without officially joining the team?
We would love to have you! Our special Allied Runners agree to raise $500 for The Network, and are eligible for select perks of joining the team. Please note that you must already have a registration with Bank of America to be eligible as an Allied Runner.
