Domestic Violence Case Manager III - The Network

We are seeking a full-time Domestic Violence Case Manager III to join our small team of DV service professionals to provide case management, advocacy, group and individual counseling and follow-up services for survivors of domestic violence. The case manager will assist clients to develop a safety plan, provide emergency and ongoing counseling, engage in legal advocacy, conduct outreach and education activities, and work with the adult social services team to connect clients to wraparound services. The case manager will record all activity in detailed case notes and maintain confidential client files. The case manager also works as part of our DV team to respond to crisis calls from our 24-hour hotline. This position reports to the DV and Human Services Program Supervisor.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:·

A Master of Social Work degree or related graduate field.

At least two years of experience working in social services.

A qualified candidate will be detail-oriented, flexible, patient, and demonstrate self-initiative, professionalism, and the ability to work in a diverse environment.

Preferred Requirements:

·       More than two years of experience working with domestic violence survivors and social services.

·       Illinois 40-hour DV training certificate or the CDVP certificate.

·       Strong ability to initiate projects and work independently.

·       Bilingual in Spanish, Arabic, Yaruba, Dari/Farsi, Kinyarwanda, Haitian Creole, French or Russian is preferred.
