Partner Abuse Intervention Intake Assessors and Group Facilitators

Make a difference - join our team of committed staff members working to intervene in and prevent intimate partner violence. Center for Advancing Domestic Peace seeks two Male/Female Part-Time and Full-time Partner Abuse Intervention Intake Assessors/ Group Facilitators.

These positions can be either part-time (10-30 hours per week) or full-time (40 hours per week). Duties include completing comprehensive individual domestic violence assessments and co-facilitating partner abuse intervention groups for up to 15 participants, completing necessary documentation and reports, and case management. Intake Assessors and group facilitation team members needed for day, evening and Saturday groups in Chicago and Lombard.

Candidates for this position should be available for evening and Saturday work. Wage negotiable based on experience and training, and references are required. Preference given to candidates who have already completed the required 40 hours of domestic violence and 20 hours of partner abuse intervention training. However, training will be provided for eligible candidates. Illinois CPAIP certification and/or experience working with victims and/or perpetrators of domestic violence is very desirable. A social work or other counseling degree, or other relevant experience is required with bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

COVID-19 considerations:

Services are being provided primarily virtually but we are in the process of moving to a hybrid model in the next month where some clients will be in the office, and some will join in-office groups remotely. Facilitators will be required to be in office when hybrid groups meet. All Covid-19 precautions are in place.
