Crystal Givens
Training Coordinator (40-hour DV Training Lead)
Crystal Givens is the coordinator for The Network’s 40-hour domestic violence training program and contributes to the development of other trainings through the Centralized Training Institute. She has a master of arts in teaching with an emphasis on Urban Education and has worked in both elementary education and higher ed. She comes to The Network with a passion for curriculum building and a strong interest in social justice advocacy through her work with Americorps, education non-profits, and as a student at two social justice-focused institutions – Roosevelt University and the University of Chicago. Outside of work, Crystal is passionate about writing, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ rights, and developing educational content around sex positivity and alternative relationship structures.
