Andrea Huber

Andrea Huber joined the Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline as the People and Operations Coordinator in October 2020 and has recently expanded her role to The Network. She is the agency’s person of contact for Human Resources and the Administrative liaison for the Hotline. Andrea grew up in Iowa and pursued her passion of social justice through direct action by graduating from University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Human Rights. She has worked with a variety of nonprofits including Planned Parenthood and a grassroots neighborhood association in Minneapolis, working with city officials to address violence, equity, and access to services for neighborhood residents. She moved to Chicago in 2020 and has been enjoying exploring everything the city has to offer, lounging by the lake, and spending time with her partner Cooper and their 2 cats, Grandpa & Wampus.
