Kayla Posley
Manager of Policy & Advocacy
Kayla works as the Manager of Policy and Advocacy at The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence. She is passionate about advancing survivor-centered policies, strengthening systems that support individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, and increasing public awareness of gender-based violence as an intersectional public health issue. Prior to joining The Network, Kayla worked at the Cook County Justice Advisory Council, where she led policy and systems advocacy initiatives focused on community violence intervention, domestic violence, and cross-sector collaboration.
With a background in public policy and a commitment to systems change, Kayla holds a Master of Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University. She believes meaningful change happens when research, policy, and community voices come together to create safer, more equitable communities.
Outside of work, Kayla prioritizes self-care by practicing yoga, spending time with her pug, Remy, reading, exploring Chicago’s coffee shops, and traveling whenever she has the
opportunity. These activities help her recharge and bring balance to both her personal life and her work.
