Emoonah McClerklin
Data & Research Associate
Emoonah McClerklin serves as the Data & Research Associate at The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence. She leads and supports research on a variety of projects across the organization, including the Measuring Safety annual report series, the Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline, and the Survivor Fund. She also provides analytic support on collaborative projects with city, regional, and statewide agencies, in addition to member organizations.
Emoonah is a writer and community organizer who worked previously to build civic education amongst young voters in the South and West sides of Chicago, and to build arts afterschool-programming in communities that need it. Her writing explores the intergenerational consequences of gender-based violence. Emoonah is passionate about using storytelling to highlight systemic injustice, whether that is through data, community engagement, or writing.
