
Alondra Montes Arroyo
Director, The Illinois Statewide Domestic Violence Hotline
Alondra Montes is the Director of the Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline, overseen by The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence and in partnership with the Chicago Department of Family and Support Services, Division on Domestic Violence. Alondra is a native Chicagoan and has always had a passion for helping others. She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Women’s Studies, with a minor in Theology from Loyola University Chicago. She completed her Masters in Social Work at the University of Saint Francis. Alondra is certified as an Illinois Domestic Violence Professional as well as an Illinois Partner Abuse Intervention Professional.
Alondra has over 16 years of non-profit experience, with 15 of those focused in the Domestic Violence field working with both survivors and people who have perpetrated domestic violence. In her career, Alondra has worked with residential programs and other domestic violence agencies–helping build partnerships for outreach services in the nearby communities, coordinating crisis intervention programs, implementing financial assistance programs and managing volunteers and crisis lines, as well as events.
