Planned Giving

Monthly Giving

It is the most effective way to make a difference – the ongoing support of monthly donors, helps to ensure that the Network has resources to be there for victims and survivors, every single day. It is the easiest way to give – make one monthly gift today, and know your charitable giving is in place for the entire year to come – no further action required. And you can cancel at anytime – if your situation changes for any reason, you can always change or cancel your gift with a simple phone call.

Planned Giving

One of the many ways that you may choose to express your commitment to our long-term sustainability is by naming the Network in your will or trust. This is a way to make a lasting contribution without affecting your current financial security and freedom. Planned gifts offer you the flexibility to balance your personal financial goals with your interest in supporting the Network.

How You Can Help

Other Ways to Give

Corporate Giving

Corporate Giving

Matching gift programs are corporate philanthropy initiatives that reward employees’ charitable donations. After an employee makes a donation to an eligible nonprofit, they fill out a matching gift submission request and submit it to their company’s HR department. Please let us know if your company has a Matching Program – this way your gift has a greater impact and goes further along in helping our mission.

Corporate Volunteering

Volunteer grant programs, also known as “Dollars for Doers” programs, are corporate giving programs created to encourage volunteerism in communities where employees live and work. Through these programs, companies provide monetary grants to organizations where employees volunteer regularly. Please ask your company if they have this program and let us know. We are always interested in partnering in these initiatives!

Raising Awareness

Spring Into Action 2019

Our annual benefit, Chicago Chefs Spring Into Action, is our single largest fundraiser, providing critical resources to advance our mission. Last year’s event attracted 300 prominent Chicagoans who enjoyed delicious tastings from acclaimed Chicago chefs and mixologists. Together, we raised more money than ever before, and we hope to exceed that amount this year.

Join us in celebrating another year of great work by the Network, recognizing our Hotline’s 20 years of dedicated work to survivors across Illinois.

Run DV Out of Town

We are domestic violence service providers from across the city of Chicago, who have come together to advance our cause in ending domestic violence. Each year, we recruit a team of dedicated runners to help us raise both money & awareness. All revenue generated by the Run DV Team is used by our member agencies for domestic violence prevention and supportive services for its survivors and their families.

We have an awesome team of runners in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon and the Chicago Half Marathon/5K!

The Chicago Marathon takes place in October, which is also National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Through community engagement our team intends to make use of a new resource for consciousness and fund-raising via this iconic Chicago event.

The Run DV Coalition is an unprecedented collaboration representing diverse populations across Chicago. Our domestic violence agencies are located in neighborhoods throughout the city and suburbs, and serve communities representing all races, ethnicities, and religions.
